This includes code updates for the 1.1 planned release - Save Connection Information moved to the File menu - Display Cache Allocation query added - Try/Catch added around the data fills - Toolbar item to resize rows and columns in the data grid - Save to tab delimited changed to string builder instead of string cats - SetStatus sub added - Try/Catch added around the save to disk code - Copy data grid to clipboard - Disable then re-enable the execute controls when saving - Performance counters queries added (for all and cache) - ExecuteQuery sub added to remove redundant code for executing database calls and putting them in the grid - Main form brought to the front after dialogs appear (fixes the form going behind all other active windows) - Link to CodePlex Project Site added in the help section - Links to all RSS feeds about the project to the CodePlex site. - Tabs used on the main page. The first tab has the data grid results, the second is the contents of the old editor dialog box to show the SQL or other information. The editor dialog form has been removed. - Bug fixed where an exception was thrown if null text was selected. - Text editor select all bug fix, now sets the focus on the text box first

This is the installation package that corresponds with the source code in change set 20895. This release mainly consisted of code cleanup.

Noted non-code cleanup changes:

- Support to save/load data grid in XML format.
- Slight performance improvement on building the queries to execute (this won't be noticeable on fast computers, we're talking minimal milleseconds probably)

Project Description
This utility will allow you to return information about what is stored is the SQL Server cache and how efficiently it is being used. The utility allows you to query off of various criteria such as use count so you can see which queries execution plans are being reused and which aren't. It also will show you whether it's they are ad-hoc queries, prepared or stored procedures. This information can be handy when looking for queries in programs that need to be optimized.

This project was originally written with Visual Studio 2005 against the .Net Framework 2.0 but has been upgraded to Visual Studio 2008 and is now compiling against the .Net Framework 3.5 (nothing specific to 3.5 though so if needed the target framework could be easily changed). The source code was written in Visual Basic.
